Meeting the Epsom Candidates

On Sunday 13 August 70 residents braved a chilly winter’s evening to attend the Meet the Candidates Meeting hosted by the Remuera Residents Association Inc at St Kentigern Boys School. Seven candidates standing for the Epsom Electorate addressed the audience. The panel, moderated by Hon. Peter Salmon, included four sitting MPs  Paul Goldsmith (National), David Parker (Labour), Epsom MP David Seymour (ACT), and Barry Coates (Greens), and party candidates Julian Paul (NZ First), Leighton Baker (Conservative) and David Hay (TOP). Questions from the floor ranged from taxation, the economy and housing to pay equity and drug liberalisation.  Make your vote count on 23 September!
