Have Your Say: Orakei Local Board Plan 2017

posted in: Latest News 0

Orakei Local Board (OLB) is asking for your feedback about plans for our local community. Every three years, each of Auckland’s 21 local boards develop a local board plan, which guides their decisions on local activities and projects.
The plans reflect the community’s priorities and preferences, and influence how local boards work with others for the benefit of local communities.
You’ll find OLB’s draft Local Board Plan on the Shape Auckland website. Full draft plans are also available at libraries, service centres and local board offices.

Developments in our community will be shaped by your ideas and input, so we encourage you to have your say.

There are three ways to give your views:

  1. Use the online feedback form
  2. Have your say in person at a local meeting.  A full list of dates can be found here (under “Ways to have your say”)
  3. Via social media. Comments on Facebook will be considered if you:
  • write something on the OLB Facebook page and include the words ‘Local Board Plan feedback’
  • send a private message using Facebook Messenger to @OrakeiLB and include ‘Local Board Plan feedback.’

After consultation closes on 30 June, OLB will review all feedback and use it to help shape its  final local board plan. The final plan will be adopted by October 2017.

Gathering of public feedback on the Draft OLB Plan 2017 opened on Monday 22 May and will close at 4pm on Friday 30 June 2017.
