The resource consent for the development at 78 Orakei Road was granted on 23 July 2020, after a review hearing on 14 July by Council Duty Commissioners, with OLB Member Troy Churton presenting the concerns of local residents. These included the scale of the development, and traffic movement on and exiting the site
