Liveable Streets, contractors working on behalf of Auckland Transport, will be undertaking asphalt resurfacing on Market Road from Sunday 10 July to Sunday 17 July 2016.
Day work will take place from 7:00am to 7:00pm, and night work from 7:00pm to 7:00am.
Preliminary works are expected to start on the night of Sunday 10th July for investigation work, with full site commencement Tuesday, 12th July. If works are delayed due to inclement weather or other events, then work will be rescheduled within a two-week period following 17 July.
The existing road surface will be removed and then the new surface will be applied. Sections of the site will be left exposed once the existing surface has been removed between works periods. However the milled surface will be suitable for trafficking.
There will motorway closure of the Market Road Southbound Off-ramp from 9pm on one night of works.
A one-way detour and traffic management will be in place during construction activities.
Your vehicular access will be affected for short periods when works take place directly outside your property entrance.
On-Street parking will be unavailable during construction activities.
