New Transport Routes - Remuera
Following public consultation, final decisions on the new bus network for the central suburbs have been made – and the routes are now available.

Implementation of the new network is planned for mid-late 2017.

Features of the new network that will impact on Remuera include:

• The 703 (Remuera to Britomart) is to be renamed 705 and extended to Benson Road for travel via Remuera to Britomart & return;
• The 625 (Glen Innes) & 635 (Benson Rd) will become 70 along Remuera Road, with 8 minute frequency at peak, and 15 minutes at all other times;
• The 701 will travel from Panmure along Marua Road, Ladies Mile and Remuera Road to Newmarket and then to the city;
• A new route, 708, will run from Newmarket via Victoria Avenue and Shore Road to Orakei Train station and then Mission Bay & return; and
• Crosstown 6 will travel from Glen Innes, St Johns, Remuera Road, Greenlane East, West and on to St Lukes & return.

There will be extensive advance communication before the new network changes are introduced.
