Auckland Transport (AT) will introduce a new bus network for the central suburbs in early-mid 2018. Public consultation on the new network was undertaken in 2015. The new network has been designed as result of feedback.
AT’s new public transport network, is one of many transport projects aimed at improving Auckland transport system. The plan is to connect services using all the modes (train, bus and ferry) relying on easy and convenient connections between services, and enabling services to be more frequent using the same number of buses, although more journeys will require a bus-to-bus or bus-to-train transfer.
The 70 bus route is planned to run between Glen Innes Rail Station and the city, via Remuera Road. A map of the full network is available here.
