The latest report on Pollution Incidents in Local Board Parks and Reserves has been received. Covering the period 20 – 26 June 2016, it notes the following two complaints for Remuera:

1. 22/06/2016 || Hobson bay Walkway || Complaint about the odour and sightliness of the water. || There was no odour at the time of the site visit and no water discoloration was observed.
2. 22/06/2016 || Waiata Reserve || Complaint about sediment runoff from resurfacing works going into the open drain leading to the reserve. || Observations onsite confirm sediment control is inadequate and evident due to the bad weather. Officer is in the process of contacting the owners to remediate.
